Where South Bay homes actually flood
Most of our sump pump calls come from a few repeatable situations: crawl spaces on the alluvial flats around Harbor City and Torrance that hold groundwater after a wet winter, hillside lots on the Palos Verdes side where runoff collects against an uphill foundation wall, and older beach-city homes whose below-grade garages and storage rooms sit at the bottom of a sloped driveway. Each one needs a different pump, a different pit, and a different discharge plan — which is why we start with a site visit rather than a price sheet.
Sized, permitted, and installed by one crew
We evaluate where the water is coming from, size the pump and basin to the real inflow, and run the discharge to an approved point — not just over the nearest curb, which several South Bay cities cite. The installation is permitted and inspected where the scope requires it, wired on a dedicated circuit, and finished so the system stays out of sight. Battery backup matters here: South Bay storms and outages tend to arrive together, and a pump that quits with the power is not protection.
Service and replacement
