Innovative Outdoor Design for Lasting Appeal
Transforming outdoor spaces into inviting, functional environments is a crucial part of enhancing a home’s curb appeal and livability. DECOMA Industries brings a comprehensive approach to designing and developing exterior areas that reflect the homeowner’s vision while maximizing the potential of the property. Whether creating serene gardens, structured patios, or expansive lawns, the focus is on blending natural elements with design to establish a cohesive look. Each project is approached with careful attention to detail, considering the unique terrain, climate, and architectural style of the home to ensure that the result is both visually striking and sustainable over time.
Beautiful, Functional Exterior Space Transformations
Beyond aesthetics, functionality plays a key role in the design process. DECOMA integrates solutions that provide homeowners with outdoor spaces they can enjoy year-round, from customized irrigation systems and outdoor lighting to functional patios and entertainment areas. The combination of modern materials, innovative design, and efficient landscaping techniques results in spaces that enhance the home’s value and usability. Every project is tailored to the homeowner’s lifestyle, whether it’s a peaceful retreat, an area for family gatherings, or an eco-friendly garden.
What you get
Everything we deliver.
- 01
Yard design & site plan
Conceptual design, planting plan, hardscape plan, irrigation plan. We design for your house, your soil, and the way you actually use the yard.
- 02
Drought-tolerant & California-native planting
Plant palettes that thrive in the South Bay's coastal climate without weekly watering. Sage, manzanita, ceanothus, succulents, native grasses — the look people associate with Manhattan Beach and Palos Verdes.
- 03
Hardscape, paths & patios
Pavers, decomposed granite, concrete, flagstone. Retaining walls for the hillside lots in Palos Verdes and San Pedro. Steps, stairs, and walkways that hold up.
- 04
Drip irrigation & smart controllers
Drip irrigation with Hunter or Rain Bird controllers, weather-based scheduling, rain shutoff. Water bills cut in half is common when we replace old spray systems.
- 05
Outdoor lighting & low-voltage
Path lights, accent uplighting on trees, deck and step lights. Installed by the same crew that handles your home's electrical — one phone number for both.

02
Plans & permits
Detailed plans for any hardscape, retaining walls (over 4 ft), or irrigation tied to the main water line. Permits with your AHJ when required.
03
Build the project
Demo of old landscaping, grading, hardscape, irrigation, planting, lighting. Phased to keep your daily routine intact — we don't trench up the driveway on a Monday morning.
04
Establish & hand off
60–90 day plant establishment — we come back weekly to check water, adjust irrigation, and replace anything that doesn't take. Final handoff with a watering schedule for the next maintenance crew.
