The work

Project notes

A clean, contemporary flat with a home office built in.

The Bat Cave is a pre-1933 unreinforced masonry building that had crumbling brick walls and failing 100’ expansive bow trusses.

DECOMA saved this building from condemnation by structurally retrofitting its brick walls and trusses, along with a full interior renovation.

The renovated structure includes indoor parking, secondary offices, a conference room, a full kitchen and a new 3,000 SF mezzanine that utilizes the interior volume created by the existing trusses.
